WA: Muster pilot helping in remote WA search for Qld tourist
A mustering pilot is using his helicopter to help in the search for a Queensland tourist
missing in Western Australia's remote Kimberley region.
Fifty-year-old CLIVE WELLS was with a tourist group near the Manning Gorge, about 300km
east of Derby, when he wandered off a walking trail about 1pm (WST) yesterday.
Police say Mr WELLS, from Eagleby south of Brisbane, was carrying a litre of water
and a box of matches.
The helicopter pilot has joined police and 15 SES volunteers searching for Mr WELLS,
who was wearing only shorts and a T-shirt.
It dropped to 10 degrees in the area overnight.
